Issue/Introduction

There are instances where certain iterations are missing from the velocity chart.

A customer has reported that an iteration is missing from their Velocity Chart, but it shows up in the Enhanced Velocity Chart.  The missing iteration may be the latest or most recently completed iteration.  In this example, it is the most recent iteration, Sprint 250.

Environment

Release:
Component: ACSAAS

Cause

Cause A: Certain Iterations are removed from the Velocity chart when changes are made after the iteration ends. When the start and end dates are changed after the original end date of an iteration is completed and nothing is scheduled in the iteration the collection that is run will not see any scheduled items and thus is removed from the chart.  If the dates are changed but something is still scheduled it will still appear in the velocity chart.

Cause B: This may be due to to the failure of of a data collection for a day(s) within the iteration.

Resolution

A: To ensure doesn't happen please make sure all changes are entered before the iteration is complete.

B: Contact Support to resolve the failed data collection issue.
