Special character in password is escaped when configuring LDAP Policy Store

Issue/Introduction

On configuring LDAP Policy Store by ca-ps-config.sh, a special character of Dollar mark ($) in password is escaped. As a result, the configuration fails due to Invalid credential (LDAP error 49).

Environment

Policy Server R12.7 SP2 (possibly all version)
OS: RHEL7.4
User dir : LDAP

Cause

InstallAnywhere is used for making the SiteMinder installer. InstallAnywhere  is using $ for its variable ( For Ex $TMP$ ). So it is sensitive to $, and it gets escaped.

Resolution

The defect will be fixed in future CR or SP.
