Agile Central - hyperlink on Portfolio Kanban does not work

Issue/Introduction

While using the Portfolio Kanban view in Rally, a user has added a multi-value custom field. This field 'appears' on the card as a blue hyperlink, however when selecting or clicking on the link nothing happens.

What is wrong?

Resolution

In reality this blue text is NOT a hyperlink at all.  Multi-value fields of any type are not accessible from kanban cards by clicking on them.  The card (User Story, Feature, Defect) needs to be opened in an editor to see the values.
