NetMaster SSI cancelled continuously with S0C4 and N-F08-00 while zERT was enabled

Issue/Introduction

Some minutes after enabling zERT SMF records on TCP/IP the NetMaster SSI abended with a S0C4 followed by an N-F08-00 abend:

The NetMaster subsystem was restarted 3 times but always abended after sometime.  Then customer disabled zERT and restarted

NetMaster--no more abends occurred.  They had found PTF SO05698 describing a similar abend but no correlation with zERT

was related in the solution.  Is this the same error and then the abend is really related to zERT or is it another problem?

Environment

OS:  z/OS.

Resolution

Cust was going to apply PTF SO07516 (which PE's SO05698) to resolve the problem.
