I received error message SARBKU02. " Direct to tape archival suspended for completion of backup cycle"

There is nothing to be done, Direct-to-tape archival resumes following completion of the backup cycle

 

The SARBKU02 message is issued because when reports are written direct to tape the current backup tape is used to write these reports. Since a backup cycle is currently running and using that tape, the direct to tape archival must be suspended until the backup is finished with that tape so there is no contention between the backup and the direct to tape archival. This is usually just a timing issue.
