Issue/Introduction

The client acquired a new Windows 2016 server, and installed Automation Point version 11.6. 

They received message:
 INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND

when trying to launch WebMV. 

Environment

Resolution

With Automation Point (AP) release 11.6, there is no longer use of the URL (http://appgh1/AP/WebmvGUI.html), for WebMV.
For AP 11.6, there needs to be use of the APP.

When upgrading to an 11.6 AP server, there is need to use the AP 11.6 client.
ALL of the clients machines will need to upgrade to 11.6, as well.

The URL (http://appgh1/AP/WebmvGUI.html) can only be used for the 11.5 AP servers, but not for the 11.6 AP servers.

For the 11.6 AP servers, follow these steps:

 . Execute the WebmvGUI.jar to launch Web MV.
 . The Connection dialog appears.
 . Specify the hostname.
 . Specify the port.
 . Specify the credentials.
 . (Optional) For a TLS connection, select a root certificate.
 . Select Connect.

Web MV opens when you connect to a Automation Point server.
