Issue/Introduction

Customer had a DASD slowdown problem and I was wondering why wasn't the DEVSERV threshold breached.
It turns out that the DASDRESP (even DASDRESP MAX) had absolutely nothing for volumes of our most important database, all columns were empty even though there always is very high I/O to the volumes from this system.
