Issue/Introduction
The new Cisco ISR device can be modeled in Spectrum with enhanced support however Spectrum is not discovering the connections. It is connected to 2 other devices which are also modeled in Spectrum. I have made sure to turn on all discovery options yet the connections are still not created.
Cause
By default the ISR configures VLAN1 assigned to all interfaces . Spectrum does not discover connections on VLAN1.
Environment
Release: Component: SPCCSS
Resolution
To allow Spectrum to create the connections, another VLAN configuration is needed. For instance, interface Vlan1 -change this to “interface vlan100” (or any vlan which can be used based on your network topo).
Alternatively, create vlan2 using the Cisco Configuration Professional Express (CCP Express), its operational down and is not assigned any interfaces.
