Issue/Introduction
Getting the MSCA previous password
Made changes to TCPIP that caused it to get TSS7250E violations when it starts.
Since its TCPIP, they cannot establish a TSO session to backout the changes from a terminal.
Trying to backout the changes from the console which requires the MSCA previous password, but don't know what it is.
Environment
Release:
Component: TSSMVS
Resolution
Put CA Top Secret in DORMANT MODE by adding MODE(DORM) to the CA Top Secret TSS Parmfile.
This will allows you to bring up TCPIP to backout the changes.
Issue a TSS REP(msca_acid) PASS(password) to change the MSCA's password. The current password will now be the previous password.
Recommend storing this password in an envelope and storing it in a safe place.
