After installing PTF RO79857 and RO88048 do I need to run LUELIGEN (Assemble and Link the ELIPSGEN Macro) and FAIRSCAN again?

After installing PTF RO79857 and RO88048 do I need to run LUELIGEN(Assemble and Link the ELIPSGEN Macro) and FAIRSCAN again?

Resolution

No. You do not need to rerun the LUELIGEN (Assemble and Link the ELIPSGEN Macro) and FAIRSCAN again, however you will need to reload the LAM module.

To reload LAMMVS you will need to delete and reinit LAM.  Or you can IPL.

Change your CA Common Services rimparms as follows to DELETE and REINIT the L/AM feature of Librarian. 

 

Example Below:

PRODUCT(CA-LIB44) VERSION(LJ44) INIT(LJ44INIT) - 

PARM(DELETE,NAME=LAM) 

PRODUCT(CA-LIB44) VERSION(LJ44) INIT(LJ44INIT) - 

PARM(REINIT,NAME=LAM)
