Problem installing TOMCAT for Common Services for z/OS V15.

Issue/Introduction

I have been installing the new version of CA Common services for z/OS V15. During the first APPLY, I received  the following errors:

Starting TOMCATSH script processing... 
Exploding all components of /cai/CASoftware/CCS150/CA/TOMCATJR using jar comman 
jar: /cai/CASoftware/CCS150/CA/TOMCATSH 71: FSUM7351 not found 
 ** jar command failed with status 127
Exiting TOMCATSH script with status 127

Environment

Common Services r15.0 using the TOMCAT functions 

Cause

The 'jar' executable is not found in the SMPJHOME directory defined for use by the installation.
 

 

Resolution

Changed the SMPJHOME DD PATH to point to the correct Java runtime directory and ensured the JAVA file system was mounted.
Note the status code of 127 is equivalent to a S806 in MVS.
