RECEIVE PTF FAILS WITH UNACCEPTABLE DATA

Issue/Introduction

Trying to RECEIVE a PTF but it fails with:

GIM36306E ** THE ++ASSIGN MCS IS OUT OF SEQUENCE.                      
GIM39801I    SYSMOD apar-number WAS NOT RECEIVED BECAUSE IT HAS A          
             SYNTAX OR CONSTRUCTION ERROR.

Cause

There were both z/VSE and z/OS APARs included as input to the RECEIVE job.

Resolution

Remove all z/VSE APARs from the input to the RECEIVE job
