Issue/Introduction

In RC/Compare for DB2 for z/OS,  is there a way to refresh an SQL file being used as the Source or Target after the strategy is created?

Resolution

For compare strategies that involve DDL files, CA RC/Compare maps objects contained in the input file when the strategy is created. This mapping is retained as part of the strategy definition. CA RC/Compare does not refresh the strategy based on the current contents of the DDL file when an analysis is performed.

 

After the strategy is created to bring in a new version of a file a new strategy would need to be created.
