LIBSERV COPYEX error RET.CODE=08, REASON=3020

Issue/Introduction

When trying to run COPY/EXPORT function using an EPIC controlled tape and the LIBSERV COPYEX function:
 
// LIBSERV COPYEX,VOL=643894,LIB=ROBOTAPE

The command fails with message:

LBSERV ERROR, FUNCTION=COPYEX, RET.CODE=08, REASON=3020

Environment

• z/VSE 5.1
• EPIC 5.2

Resolution

• The LIBSERV COPYEX command was not handled by EPIC as EPIC does not have general support for LIBSERV.
• The RET.CODE=08, REASON=3020 message indicates an 'Invalid Library Name'.
• A separate job could be tried with LIBSERV commands.
• Consult with IBM regarding macro LIBSERV.
