UMP liferay dockbar missing and no logout button available

Issue/Introduction

After upgrade to UIM 9.02 for UMP, the liferay top section which contains Add Page/Portlet and on the far right the logged on user and Sign Out no longer appear.

Environment

UIM 8.51
UIM 9.02

Resolution

This issue is observed for any user without administrator ACL
Reason is some liferay general 'User' rights are observed missing migration on upgrade in some cases.

Resolution 

Add these rights to the 'User' Role.

• Go to control panel
•  Click on Roles in the side pane of control panel, and select User and click define permission after that from add permission dropdown add following permission.
•  My Account (Access in Control Panel) Scope Portal
•  My Pages (Access in Control Panel) Scope Portal
•  My Submissions (Access in Control Panel) Scope Portal
•  My Submissions (View) User Personal Site)
•  My Workflow Tasks (Access in Control Panel) Scope Portal
•  My Workflow Tasks (View) User Personal Site)
