Issue/Introduction

How to Load an Organization in CMDB through GRLOADER?

Environment

Service Desk Manager 14.1 and later

Resolution

The following xml code allows to set an Organization to a CI:

<object>
<objecttype>lrel_oenv_orgref</objecttype>
<org>ORGANIZATION_NAME</org>
<nr>CI_NAME</nr>
</object>

Example:

<object>
<objecttype>lrel_oenv_orgref</objecttype>
<org>Organization1</org>
<nr>TEST1</nr>
</object>

Where Organization1 is the Organization to be loaded
Where TEST1 is the the CI name where Organization is set.

Example creating a CI and setting an Organization:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<GRLoader>
<ci>
<name>Prodemge4</name>
<class>Server</class>
<family>Hardware.Server</family>
<asset_num>123</asset_num>
<system_name>123</system_name>
<serial_number>123</serial_number>
<mac_address>123</mac_address>
<service_org lookup='org_num'>Org1</service_org>
</ci>
<object>
<objecttype>lrel_oenv_orgref</objecttype>
<org>Organization1</org>
<nr>TEST1</nr>
</object>
</GRLoader>

Note: It's not possible to set an organization to a CMDB through CSV/Excel files.
