Issue/Introduction

How to set up port number and base path when creating a service from request and response pairs using DevTest Portal.

Environment

All supported DevTest releases.

Resolution

When creating a virtual service from request and response pairs, using the "Virtualize from RR pairs" option in the DevTest Portal, you can select the option "VRS" under the Protocols field.

You will need to provide a VRS (Virtual Recording Session) file that has the request and response files directory specified and you can also specify the port  number and base path.

With this option you will be able to create a virtual service with a specific port number and base path.

Additional Information

You can create a sample VRS file using the recording option in the Workstation and then modify it accordingly.
