How to download CA-Adapter for CA Strong Authentication and CA Single Sign ON Integration

Issue/Introduction

CA Adapter is used to link/integrate CA Advance Authentication with CA Single Sign ON. This document shared screen shots depicting the procedure to down load the CA Adapter. 

How to download CA-Adapter for CA Strong Authentication and CA Single Sign ON Integration ?

Environment

CA Strong Authentication server and CA Single Sign On server

Resolution

1.  Please login to support.ca.com using your credentials.

2. Select the "Download Management" option as shown below

3. As shown in the screen below please search for "CA Advanced Authentication Strong Authentication (Authminder/Webfort)

4. Click on "CA Advanced Authentication for Consumers MULTI-PLATFORM"

5.  Note that the "Package is being processed"  for download.  Followed by the screen showing that the package is "Ready" for download.

6. Click on the "FTP" option as shown below

6. Click on "scart0.zip" to download "scart0.zip" to your machine.

7.  Unzip the "scart0.zip" file on your machine. You will see these zip files. Note that these are all CA Strong Authentication 9.0 files and in this specific download example for Linux CA Adapter 9.0, the file "GEN500000000000116.zip" contains the CA Adapter files. So, unzip the file - "GEN500000000000116.zip". Similarly for say Windows platform version please examine the zip files here.

8. On unzipping "GEN500000000000116.zip" you will find the CA Adapter files under folder "CA-Adapter"

9. This final step shows the Linux Installer for CA Adapter

Additional Information

Note that the download  (mentioned in Step 7 in this document) does contain installation files for various platforms ( Solaris, Windows and Linux)
