Why I can't change the Console Timeout of PAM's UI?

Based on the official documentation (https://docops.ca.com/ca-process-automation/04-3-03/en/getting-started/administrators ), in order to change the Control Timeout Interval the following steps can be followed:

By default, CA Process Automation automatically logs off after 15 minutes of inactivity. You can change the product timeout interval.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in as an administrator to the server where the Domain Orchestrator is installed.
  2. Navigate to the following folder:


    • install_dir
      Defines the path where the Domain Orchestrator is installed.
  3. Open the OasisConfig.properties file.
  4. Locate the following property and change the value:

  5. Save and exit the file. Restart the Orchestrator service.

I have followed the steps, but the change is not saved and the default interval time still remains, why is that?


Process Automation 4.3.03


On the latest 4.3.03 release, a new configuration tab is added in the UI, everything configured there will overwrite what you have on OasisConfig.properties.

In order to make this change, the following steps can be followed:

1.- Go to Configuration tab.
2.- expand "Orchestrators".
3.- Select your Domain Orchestrator.
4.- Click on the last tab in the right, called "Configuration Properties".
5.- There you will see a setting called "managementconsole.timeout" with a default value. Change it as desire and restart PAM server.
