Issue/Introduction

After completing a full base installation of the CA Database Management Solutions for IMS for z/OS, when then applying the latest CARS Level it fails with following messages: 
 
No sites found that allowed PTFnumber to be retrieved.
No sites found that allowed PTFnumber to be retrieved.
No sites found that allowed PTFnumber to be retrieved.
and so on.

The messages are issued for products in the IMS Suite of tools that this site is not licensed for.

Cause

When installing the products using a 'Full Install' installation type all products in the suite of tools are installed.

Resolution

You can limit the installation to only those products and components that you are licensed for using a 'Custom Installation' installation type. If your selected products require installation of other components, the installation wizard includes the required features to the installation process.

Additional common and product components are also installed with these products:
IMS Toolkit Common Component
IMS Toolkit Started Task Component
