Resolution

Robot disk space requirements (installation and storage)

The robot requires less than 200 MB of free space for installation and storage.

Robot system resources
A typical robot uses the following system resources:
CPU: negligible, e.g., less than 1%
Memory: ~2 MB

For a robot, the minimum system resource requirements we list besides those in the Platform Support Matrix are:

- Processor: 2-3 GHz minimum
- RAM: 2 GB RAM minimum
- Disk: Minimum 5 MB of free disk space

When you also consider the other probes  mentioned, e.g.,

- hub
- logmon
- processes
- ntevl
- ntservices
- cdm

Disk space requirements will vary. So, we do provide a spreadsheet to help guide customers with estimating storage requirements including QOS and alarms.
