We get the following error on MSM when attempting to APPLY CHECK maintenance: ERROR - MSMU0001E - An unexpected error has occurred. Time: 2019-02-08 12:05:47,387 -0600 Reason: An internal error occurred during the processing of your request. Message: com/ca/mf20/sis/smpe/impl/model/results/parsers/CauserSysmodReportParser Action: Look in the CA CSM logs for further information. Export the error message and contact CA Support at http://ca.com/support/

Shut down MSMTC, after it is down, in ishell access your CSM's /parentpath/msmruntime/tomcat/webapps/ directory. You will see : _ Dir . _ Dir .. _ Dir MSM _ File MSM.war Delete the MSM directory then restart MSMTC and retry the apply check. The MSM directory will be rebuilt from the MSM.war file which will refresh all the classes.
