Will any additional overhead associated with Subsystem Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PSA) collections show up as higher resource usage in the Xmanager task?
If not, what tool can be used to determine the overhead?

Resolution

Subsystem Analyzer collections will have normal overhead to collect Db2 getpage and I/O statistics. The overhead is attributed to the application.
You can run Mainframe Application Tuner or Strobe against a Db2 application to monitor the CPU usage.

The CPU usage that will show up for PSA modules like PSACGECx or PSACUTCx  is associated with the Subsystem Analyzer collection.
