I am running a Scan against a DB2 table and the DCDSRVR task is getting message 'CSV003I REQUESTED MODULE DSNHMCID NOT FOUND' with a ABEND 806-04, what is the cause?

Resolution

The DSNHMCID data-only module, is used for message conversion by DB2 applications and utilities. When you install DB2, job DSNTIJUZ creates DSNHMCID in prefix.SDSNEXIT and prefix.SDSNLOAD. To address the error be sure that the DB2 library containing module DSNHMCID is in the LINKLIST or in the STEPLIB concatenation for the DCD classification engine started task(default started task name DCDSRVR).
