Issue/Introduction

Is MTC-CV (Mainframe Team Center - Content Viewer) the same product as CA OM Web Viewer 14.0?
With MTC-CV, is there the need for CA DRAS?
Does MTC-CV currently have the option of being installed on z-Linux as well as OMVS?

Resolution

Mainframe Team Center - Content Viewer (MTC-CV) is the old name for the means to browse reports using a web browser, and the new name is CA OM Web Viewer 14.0.

Web Viewer 14.0 has much of the functionality as the Web Viewers, with additional functionality to be added in the next few months.

With using Web Viewer 14.0, there is no further need for CA DRAS.

The mainframe portion of Web Viewer 14.0, requires a supported GA release of IBM z/OS.
Web Viewer may not be installed on z/Linux.

Web Viewer 14.0 supports the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
It also supports mobile browsers on iOS and Android.
