Compliance Event Manager
Issue/Introduction
Compliance Event Manager maintenance (including the CEMUI PTF SO04778) has been applied. When running reports, the error: 'CEMR202E Cannot connect to the CA Compliance Event Manager web service' is encountered.
Review of the CEMETOM job reveals the error:
'java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:An invalid character Ý32¨ was present in the Cookie value'.
The application of SO04778 should have resolved this type of error.
Environment
CEM 6.0 Current maintenance (including the CEMUI ptf SO04778).
Cause
A pre-SO04778 version of the CEMUI was cached, and being used.
Resolution
The application of SO04778 corrects the 'java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: An invalid character Ý32¨ was present in the Cookie value', but it is sometimes necessary to perform a hard reset on the CEMUI to force a non cached reload of the CEMUI (in chrome, the keyboard shortcut is CTRL + SHIFT + R, and in IE, CTRL + F5)
