Issue/Introduction

IBM has announced the end of support date for z/OS Java 7.x Software Developer Kits (SDKs). After September 1st, 2019 IBM will no longer support Java 7.x in the z/OS Operating System. All z/OS Batch Java applications using Java 7.x must upgrade to Java 8. What does this mean for Users and Batch Java application developers?

There shouldn't be any impact for users and batch developers as CA 1 doesn't look to utilize java.
