When changing the Spectrum install owner to a newly created user for one landscape in a DSS, is creating matching new user model on the MLS and all other landscapes required?

Issue/Introduction

If I change the Spectrum install owner to a newly created user for one of the landscapes in a Distributed SpectroSERVER (DSS) Environment, do we need to create matching new user model on the MLS and all other landscapes in that DSS environment?

Distributed SpectroSERVER (DSS) environment

Resolution

If you change the Spectrum install owner to a newly created user on one of the landscapes in a Distributed Spectroserver Environment then you will need to create a new matching user model on the MLS and all other landscapes in the DSS.

You can do this by creating the new user on the MLS and then using the Synchronise Now button under: 

OneClick -> Users tab -> User -> Component Detail

 

This will sync all the users models across the landscapes with the master user model.
