How does UIM zones probe "Connect to non-global zones using" option work while creating a resource

Connect to non-global zones using:
Select the connection method from the drop down list to connect to the non global zones.
“A direct connection using the credentials” works if zone is configured with “Shared-IP”.
If the zone is configured with “Exclusive-IP” only “The zlogin command from the global zone” works.
Also using “The zlogin command from the global zone” is more performant since all the performance data are collected directly from the global zone
and no overhead of ssh login in to each and every zones.

“The IP configuration of an exclusive-IP zone can only be viewed from the global zone by using the zlogin command.”
