CA Automation Point support to Windows 2016 Server Core

Issue/Introduction

The CA Automation Point application servers needs to migrate to Windows Server 2016 Core Edition. 
The 11.5 and 11.6 doc states that CA Automation Point does not mention the support of Server Core Installations of Windows.

Are there plans to be able to use this newer version/feature of the Windows Server? .

Resolution

Unfortunately, the Core Installation of Windows is not supported for the CA Automation Point.
CA Automation Point requires a GUI installation of Windows.
Even when CA Automation Point is run as a service it still utilizes certain GUI Windows system calls that are not available in the Core Installation.
