Unable to save vmware probe configuration change

Issue/Introduction

Unable to save configuration changes on vmware probe.
The following popup is returned in vmware probe GUI in the Infrastructure Manager.

Failed to save the probe configuration file: Faulty status in reply message;
expected 0 (OK), got 90 (Configuration error.).
================================================================

Environment

vmware probe any version

Cause

vmware probe entry is missing in Probe Administration.
 

Resolution

1. Open Infrastructure Manager
2. [Security] - [Probe Administration]
3. Add vmware probe entry

[Probe] vmware
[Access] admin
[IP Mask] *

This will bring vmware probe entry back.

Additional Information

When you re-deploy vmware probe again, the same entry is re-populated back.
So re-deploy the probe is another solution.
