Issue/Introduction

Can Sysview be used to monitor WebSphere Application Server running on z/OS?

Resolution

Sysview can monitor the Address Space using regular MVS conventions (CPU, storage, etc), but Sysview does not monitor Websphere Application Server internally. CA SYSVIEW monitors MQ Queues, Queue Managers, but not the Websphere Application Server.
