CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation EngineAUTOMIC WORKLOAD AUTOMATION
Issue/Introduction
Is the number of CPUs per machine restricted in any way, as they relate to the license file provided by Broadcom/CA/Automic?
Environment
Release: Component: AAUTEN
Resolution
The license file is tied to the number of CPUs for a Windows or Unix agent. If you look at the license in the administration perspective you will see some entries have a value in 'Processors'. For Windows and Unix agent this represents the number of cores in the CPU. For example, you have 1 Windows license with 4 processors. If you tried to start that agent on a Windows box with 8 cores it would fail to start.
