What causes message TRACWARN - JOB TESTJOB1 STEP=N/A ABENDED CODE=JCLCN to be issued?

Resolution
When a job fails due to a JCL error a message similar to the following will be issued:
TRACWARN - JOB TESTJOB1 STEP=N/A ABENDED CODE=JCLCN
Check the joblog of failing job for indications of what is causing the JCL error.
An example of messages that may appear to identify the failure is below:
$HASP106 JOB DELETED BY JES2 OR CANCELLED BY OPERATOR BEFORE EXECUTION
HASP118 Invalid JECL statement.
The end user will need to take the appropriate action and make the necessary corrections to the job
before submitting it again.
