Issue/Introduction

Unable to log into Spectrum installed on Windows using username of user that owns the Spectrum installation

Environment

Spectrum installed on Windows

Resolution

Check the spelling of the user login user name. Spectrum usernames are case sensitive where as Windows usernames are not.

If you are unsure of the username of the user that owns the Spectrum installation, check the value of the "initial_user_model_name" parameter in the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file.
