We are testing our 17.1 installation at the moment. We recognized, that the right slider hovers over the services if I decrease the width of the server window.
And on full screen it there is a big gap between the last shown service and the slider...

As we discussed this on the phone, a summary of that:
Explaining that the current design is not a good one.
The right-hand-slider on the window/page should always be and stay there WITH the content of the page being re-sized.
According to the movement of the window-resize action that is being performed. As 'other' software does too.
And avoiding the slider to cross over the tiles as currently being visible in the SC-UI.
Therefor Christian will open an Idea for an improved design for the future.
And I will open a defect to get a fix for this in the sort term.

Defect DE47148 has been created for this. To be worked on by our Engineering Team.
Depending on the results of the analysis, the solution for this is possibly to be expected as a patch or fix or a future release.
In other words, there is no permanent solution at this time.
The issue is currently being researched.
Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Additional Information

Repro scenario on both an SC r14.1 and an SC r17.1 environment(to see the difference).

1. Login to the SC-UI
2. Goto Catalog/Configuration
3. Open Request Management Configuration
4. Scroll down to 'Browse Catalog Layout' and edit this into 'Service View'

5. Goto Home/Requests >> The tiles of the offerings appear.
6. Hover with your mouse over the left-boundary of the Window until the icon <-> appears
7. Narrow down(move icon to the right) the window
>> See some tiles disappearing.
>> As in client's wording: showing the right-hand-slider over the tiles.
>> Which is the issue this case is opened for.

Perform the above scenario on both amelo01-I1660(14.1) and amelo01-I2381(17.1).
And see the difference in behavior.

Client opened an Idea for the same:
