Delta consolation results in message SMGR082E being issued; Why?

Issue/Introduction

Why would the SMGR082E message be issued during a delta consolidation?

Resolution

The message SMGR082E is issued by Endevor which the maximum of 99,000 inserts of deletes have been surpassed.   It will be issued during an element consolation when one of the levels; in most cases level 01 exceeds 99,000 inserts or deletes.  Remember when auto consolidation is done all the additions and deletions for levels being consolidated will fall into Level 01. 

The work around for this is to turn off auto consolidation for the type involved.
