When creating a Power BI report, most data appears to be accurate (ie. Planned Hours, Total Actuals, ETC Hours) for an project. However, the ETC cost column incorrectly returns a 0 cost. In Open Workbench and PPM cost plans, the ETC Cost shows the expected amounts. The ETC Cost comes back as 0 using various tables, such as: DWH_INV_PER_FACTS_M_V and DWH_INV_PERIOD_FACTS.

The ETC Cost will not populate with the correct amount for the project in Power BI if the ETC Costs in the PPM UI have not been updated/populated. To get the costs to update, navigate to the task list of the projectin question, and from the Actions menu, select the option to 'Update Cost Totals'. Alternatively, the 'Update Earned Value and Cost Totals' job can be run from Reports and Jobs and this will do the same thing as running 'Update Cost Totals'. After doing this, the Load DWH job would then need to run in order to get these cost amounts in the Data Warehouse tables used in the reports.
