ESF964 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size

Issue/Introduction

SMTP node is going EDRAINED and the following messages can be seeing in the ESFLOG:

ESF4110 File 10921 queued for A2PD Transformation
ESF766 JOB08219 jjjjjjj TRANSFERED FROM JES2 TO ESF DESTINATION PRT001 FILE 10921
ESF4131 File 10921 jjjjjjj (PRT001 /uuuuuu ) A2PD transformed into file 10922
ESF106 FILE 10921 PURGED, OWNER=uuuuuu DEST=PRT001
ESF921 File 1083 on printer PRT001 initially, 12662 pages (Sock# 001)
ESF964 File 1083 on printer PRT001 - 552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size.
ESF925 File 1083 on printer PRT001 held
ESF926 Printer PRT001 edrained

Resolution

CA Spool is just echoing an error message produced by the SMTP server.
The SMTP server administrator should review this error. From a research on the internet, the SMTP server has a parameter that limits the size of the attachments. This big file (12,662 pages) seems to be reaching this limit. The configuration required depends on the SMTP server used. Anyway, the configuration is at the email server side, not CA Spool.
