DCIIM010 error message returned when starting ISPF Interface of DCI

Issue/Introduction

Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) has been correctly installed, and the Controller region has been successfully started.

However, DCI cannot be accessed via ISPF because, when the REXX script is executed, the following error is returned:

 DCIIM010 You are not authorized for the selected option. Request denied. 

Environment

Dynamic Capacity Intelligence 1.5

Cause

Incorrect access rights definition on the External Security Manager (ESM) like IBM RACF,  Top Secret or  ACF2.

Resolution

On the Dynamic Capacity Intelligent documentation site, there is a specific section (Permit User Access Rights for ISPF Interface)  that provides the correct definitions for all the ESMs.
