Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions about Spectrum Dockerization/Kubernetes.

Environment

Release: Spectrum 10.3.x, 10.4.x

Resolution

We support dockerized spectrum and also running with openshift. It was introduced in Spectrum 10.3.0 version.

Kubernetes was introduced in Spectrum 10.4.1 version.

Kubernetes (commonly stylized as K8s) is an open-source container-orchestration system for automating deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications.

Openshift uses the kubernetes platform, so if customers know how to run spectrum. Docker without openshift is fully supported.

The container files can be downloaded from support.broadcom.com.  After which, you just need to run them.
