What could be causing the link-edit processing errors?
Cause
If all checks out correctly then review the job output for possible space errors; for example GIM26701S.
Environment
Release: Component: INS
Resolution
An example of a space error causing link-edit processing errors is GIM26701S.
GIM26701S DIRECTORY SPACE FOR THE library LIBRARY WAS EXCEEDED DURING AN ATTEMPT TO STORE enttype ENTRY entname.
In this particular case, increase the directory block allocations in the SMPWRKn DD file definitions in the JCL and run the Apply Check again.
