Cause

This problem occurs if the SD package has been delivered to a lot of Scalability Servers.
When a SD procedure parameter of a sealed Package is updated, a message is sent to all Scalability Servers which have the package in its SD Library in order to update the file itemproc.dat.
These messages sending could take long time if there are a lot of involved Scalability Server and/or some Scalability servers are not available on network.

Environment

Client Automation 14.0 SP2

Resolution

Contact CA Technical Support to request the fix T437294 for Client Automation 14.0 SP2

This fix introduces a parameter (DisableReginfoUpdates) to disable the sending of messages to Scalability Server when a SD Procedure is updated.

Install the fix on DOMAIN Manager and execute this command :
ccnfcmda -cmd setparametervalue -ps itrm/usd/manager -pn DisableReginfoUpdates -v 1

The file itemproc.dat on the Scalability Servers will be updated later during execution of next stagecheck on the Scalability Server.
By default StageCheck is executed every 12 hours.
