After shipping an element to a remote location, I now need to delete the same element. I get a message that the element does not exist at the Endevor location. How can I delete the element?

Issue/Introduction

I shipped an element to a remote location, now (two days later) I want to delete the element.

I am getting an error 1708-0002 that indicates that the element does not exist on the host file.

How am i going to delete the element from Endevor

Resolution

Since the element does not exist at the host side to delete, follow these steps to get the delete to work:

• Add the element into Endevor 
• Move the element (in a package) to the host file that does not have the element.
• Delete the element with a second package.  Endevor now knows that a delete of the element is generating a ship delete at the remote location.
