CA Privileged Access Manager - Cloakware Password Authority (PA)PAM SAFENET LUNA HSMCA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)
Issue/Introduction
Customer followed the steps on this page to set up a private delivery network to distribute the CA PAM Client installer: https://docops.ca.com/ca-privileged-access-manager/3-2-3/EN/deploying/deploy-the-ca-pam-client/use-a-private-delivery-network-to-distribute-the-client-installer
However, still could not download the PAM client files.
Cause
Their apache configuration had exe files identified as cgi-bin files. When they tried to d/l the file, it actually was trying to execute on the web server rather than download.
Environment
PAM 3.2.3 Using an apache web server to distribute CA PAM client over the intranet.
Resolution
They removed these references from the httpd.conf: < # AddHandler cgi-script .exe < # Addhandler cgi-script .exe .pl .cgi
