What health checks can be performed with CA View, and how are they turned on?

CA View - All releases

Resolution

. CA View issues health checks and requires the CA Health Checker Common Service modules (in CA Common Services) to be available to the CA View environment. 

. CA View links to the CA Health Checker Common Service product, to provide a standard access to the operating system's health checker services. 

. CA Health Checker Common Service runs under the IBM Health Checker for z/OS. 

To successfully register CA checks, the IBM Health Checker must be active.
