Issue/Introduction

The Jaspersoft JasperReportsĀ® Server 6.x documentation mentions that it supports LDAP for authentication. However, after implementing this configuration Reports are no longer accessible via the CA Identity Manager User Console.

When the Report Server "test connection" button is used an error is returned.

"Report Server Connection" menu just returns "Error: [Connection] Cannot establish connection successfully. "

If I remove LDAP as auth source all works as expected.

Are there further configuration steps required to implement LDAP or token-based authentication supported between CA IM and Jaspersoft Report server?

Environment

CA Identity Manager 14.x\ CA Identity Suite 14.x and Jaspersoft JasperReports Server 6.x

Resolution

CA Identity Manager does not currently support this configuration (JasperReports Server with LDAP authentication and Identity Manager Integration).
