Is there any difference between using the STOP or P z/OS commands concerning SSM?

Resolution

The STOP and P commands are treated the same way by the rule SSMSTOP. In previous CA OPS/MVS releases there was a difference. The full version of the command (STOP) was used to bypass SSM. This is not true in the current releases.
