Vision Report fails with s378 reading variable records

Issue/Introduction

When reading variable blocked spanned records              
whose logical record size is greater than the block size,  
a S378 Freemain ABEND occurs closing the file.             
                                                           
When writing variable blocked spanned records              
whose logical record size is greater than the block size,  
a S002-18 ABEND occurs writing records.
