Unable to VARY a JOURNAL file to ACTIVE because it is waiting for a previous VARY to complete. How do I find and terminate the previous VARY command that it is waiting for to complete, so that I can VARY the JOURNAL FILE I need to ACTIVE?

To find and terminate the pending VARY command that it is waiting for to complete, so you can VARY the JOURNAL file you need to ACTIVE, follow these steps:
(1). DCMT D ID * Take Note the ID of the VARY command that is waiting to complete. (2). DCMT VARY ID xxx TERMINATE * To free the PENDING VARY command (3). DCMT VARY JOURNAL FILE jrnl1 ACTIVE * To VARY the JOURNAL file ACTIVE
